Looking at this news, there is only emotional outrage and one question: when will these decrepit dictators finally eat their fill and drink their fill of power, so that they leave their own and neighboring peoples in peace — including the very young, who are only beginning their life’s path? The older the dictator, the younger his political opponents are in prison. We very much want the new generation not to see these faces that we, as we grow older, have been forced to watch for years “from every iron.” And here is yet another true citizen of his country, interested in an agenda connected with access to information different from the lies promoted by the current authorities. And now he has been thrown into prison, and the sentence is being increased time after time. Look at his face — and much becomes clear: who should live and develop, and who should finally leave almost one third of Eurasia alone.

A new case has been opened against Arseniy Turbin

A new criminal case has been opened against political prisoner Arseniy Turbin. He is suspected of an offense under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — participation in mass riots. A support channel reports that a “wide circle of people” is giving testimony against the teenager, and his relatives see what is happening as an attempt to increase his term at any cost: “We stopped an attempt to spin up an AUE-related case in December, but apparently the task was to increase the sentence, and now they will build a new case and a new term. Since spring, Arseniy’s close ones feared this, because there was active pressure and talks with him that he must admit guilt, as well as artificial delays in sending the case to cassation.” (https://t.me/free_arseny/78)

Earlier, in June 2024, the Western District Military Court sentenced Arseniy Turbin — then 15 years old — to five years’ imprisonment in a juvenile correctional facility under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization). According to investigators, from April to June 2023 — when he was 14 — he “systematically viewed informational materials” about opposition political figures who spoke out against the actions of the Russian authorities, and against Vladimir Putin’s decision of 24.02.2022 to conduct the so-called “special military operation,” including materials posted by representatives of the “Legion ‘Freedom of Russia’.” The investigation claimed that as a result the teenager developed “radical extremist political views” consistent with the ideology of that formation.
