This is the story of a Russian army serviceman who signed a contract and suffered an injury to one eye. In unbearable pain, he was not evacuated for two days, and after the evacuation he began losing sight in his other eye. That was when volunteers stepped in and, almost miraculously—through joint efforts and by purchasing expensive medicines with their own money—managed to preserve a small part of his vision. And what do you think happened? The so-called state did not leave him alone for a well-deserved pension—it sent him back to the front line. No matter how good the intentions of volunteers and compassionate people may be, they will still run into the inhumanity of those who started this war and do not plan to end it until they achieve their vile goals. You can learn the details from the following news item:
“By all the laws of logic and humanity, the war should have ended for him. But the soldier was sent back.”
A serviceman with the call sign “Snoop” previously served in the 143rd Motor Rifle Regiment (unit 21634) of the 127th Motor Rifle Division of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army . He signed his contract in June 2024. In September 2024 he suffered a severe injury and lost an eye. After hospitalization, due to health reasons, he was reassigned to serve in the 114th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment in the village of Sergeyevka, Primorsky Krai.
Over time, he began losing vision in his second eye. After a complex operation, doctors were able to preserve his sight only partially. But, as has become known, on January 6, 2026, the command of the 114th Regiment decided to send an almost blind serviceman back to the SVO zone.
